First Day of Class

Today was the first day of classes (bet you didn't guess that from the name!), and I think they went pretty well (I had Italian civilization and language, which seem like they will be challenging, but managable). Had lunch at the mensa (cafeteria), then bought way too many groceries and ate too many sweets. Picked up some books from the bookstore, fell down (smooth Em, real smooth) on the way to Palazzo Lupatelli to check email, so now I have a nice scrape to show (both knee and ankle). Came back to the apartment and made my salad, which was good, but I didn't cook the chickpeas long enough. Had my watermelon to celebrate the fourth and people came over to hang out on the terrace. They left and I did my little bit of homework.
