Met Becky 10ish and went to the once monthly local organics market, which was cool, but small. Bought some dried bean type stuff (chickpeas, farro, and something called cicechie which I can't find a translation for). Went to the tourist office and finally picked up a decent map and the schedule for Umbria Jazz, which sounds awesome: Tony Bennet and the Count Basie Orchestra are playing the same show, and the cheapseats are only €12! Came back to the apartment and did lots of laundry- which works so much better when the sun is out to dry things off. Wandered around downtown, then did a dry run to class with everyone. Came back and hung out with Taryn for a while, and Julie was back from Spello when I got in (which sounds like a great place to blow a lot of money on some really good food). Started soaking some of my dried legumes (great word, that) and talked for a while, now an attempt at sleep.
