Wine and Olive Oil

Julie, Becky, Mike and I met John and then headed out to Torgiano to visit the Lungarotti family wine and olive oil museums (which were cool and very well done, but I would have liked to see a bit more about the specialities of each in the region, etc...). We came back into town and I ended up being able to talk to Mom and Dad (I finally found a cheap place to call them from) which was really nice. From there, Becky and I got gelato, then we headed back to the apartments. I hung out there, Julie showed up and food was made. Did some laundry (which took forever, literally almost 2 hours for one load to finish) and people hung out up here. We went down to the piazza, where there was a vigil going on for AIDS awareness with a candle ribbon out- very touching. Hung out there, did the passegiata thing, then headed to a bar where everyone else had mojitos and I abstained because my body doesn't like rum. Becky and I spoke lots of italian, which made me feel a little more confident about class (since it flowed pretty easily, and I was able to catch most of my own mistakes), then we walked back, and now bed.
