Lazy Day

Spent a very lazy day today: mostly in front of the tv, but also wandering around the garden (got a couple of gorgeous pictures of flowers) and enjoying my soup. The weather was strange: constantly threatening to rain, which was why I decided not to go out. However, I was amused by watching Maggie prepare to go off to the Nottinghamshire Restaurant Awards, where they are hoping No. 4 Wood St. will have won something. So I got to watch the process of nails (yesterday), hair (today) and shoes (off until the very last minute). Have yet to hear from her about the results, but keeping my fingers crossed (which will be harder once I go to bed).
