Sorry

Work up bright and early (not my choice, but one doesn't argue with Booba) and had a breakfast of cereal that was only two years expired (if you hadn't heard before, Booba doesn't like to throw anything out, and [at least in my mind] is notorious for serving us spoiled food). Headed off to catch the bus back to Mansfield, and during the ride, the urge struck me to make a pot of soup, so I spent most of the morning working on that. We had our second lovely day of actual warm, sunny weather, so I wandered in the garden a bit. Maggie and I again headed into Nottingham around 5 to meet Booba, and she took us out to dinner at a nice French-ish restaurant. I made the mistake of sneaking off to pay the bill, and was informed that "if she invites someone out, she expects to pay" and was handed my money back. That woman can be very intimidating when she wants to be! We dropped Booba back at her house, picked up the standard couple of rosebuds from the garden, then came back to house, where we caught a very sad show about the life of a woman who has multiple personalities. Then spend a couple of hours online booking hostels: it'll be the 10th- 12th in Edinburgh, the 13th-15th in Caernarfon, and I've reserved a room at the hostel in Perugia for the couple of days before my lease starts. Now I just have to get my Venice plans in order, and I'll be all set! Na-night!
