150+ years!

Once again the sun woke me up, so I read in bed for a little while, went down to breakfast, where I ran into Maria, so I had a little company. Checked out at 8:45, and wandered down Prince St (got a few presents) and caught a train from Waverly to Preston, on to Manchester, finally Bangor (where I'll take a bus to Caernarfon). Coincidentally, I got to go through Lancaster (Dad's old university town). Spent some time talking to Jody, the guy sitting next to me, and stared out the window alot. Almost missed my train at Preston, but the ride up was nice- got to see the sea again, although it wasn't as awe inspiring as the Scottish coast had been. Had a little bit of trouble finding the hostel when I got to Caernarfon, but people were really friendly and helpful. Got there (it looked really nice and the people running it were really friendly) and they had gottne a booking of 16 10-yr-old boys, so they had moved me to the pub a block away and were paying the difference for the two nights! So I followed their directions, and it's right off the water and right next to the castle. I've got a room to myself! Had a very nice dinner of smoked haddock rarebit at a celtic restaurant and am now going to crash.
