The trip to the cities was a blast: we went to Jitters for Starkey, out to the MOA, the sculpture garden, Chino, and a Second Sunday dance. Awesome people and a really fun time. Rediculous amounts of fruit was consumed between Mebbie and I. And ice cream. But that was me and Gina. Mebbie's the healthy one.
Tuesday at the Brink went really well. I've never seen it that crowded before and people really seemed to enjoy themselves. I know I did. Between the new dress (which turned out very well) and my amaretto sours, I was feelin' sassy. Or, as it was better put by Nicole, I was at peace with (and embracing) my sassy. Music was great, and it was wonderful seeing people out. Two dancing outings down, one to go.
I'm on a Don Cheadle kick right now. Recent movies include Hotel Rwanda, Manic and Bullworth. Upcoming: The United States of Leland and The Rat Pack.
Picnic this Friday at Hoyt Park. I'll be there 5ish. You should come.
