My geek cred is increasing: I spent about 15 hours watching a Firefly marathon yesterday. For those of you who don't know about it, it's awesome. I've heard the best way to describe it is that it's a Sci Fi Western. Before you completely discount it because of that description(like I did at first), I really have to say that it's really funny and well developed. Which is probably why it only made it through one season. But seriously, check it out. It's worth the time (even if it did make it really painful to wake up). Good action, good drama, good dry humor.
Of note: Hoyt Park has perfect shelters for picnics. Highly recommended.
