Woke up 6ish, and got moving with the last of the things I needed to do before I left (garbage, fridge, etc.). Headed out a little before 7, and caught a bus to the station. First a train to Terontola, then one to Rome (on which I ate the last of the challah bread from Perugia, I'm going to miss that stuff). Got into Rome around 1 and dropped my stuff at the hostel, wandered around for a bit and then met up with Joe (and 2 friends), Katie and Francesca (with sister). Went out for a mid-afternoon meal, then wandered down to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. Got a gelato, then people started breaking off. Ended up back to check in at the hostel, then found a yogurteria and an internet cafe. Came back and watched the Italian JOb at the hostel and read for a while.
My attempt to keep a semi up to date log of my life, travels, and forays into gardening, green living, home decoration and whatever else catches my fancy.

Hello Rome!
Woke up 6ish, and got moving with the last of the things I needed to do before I left (garbage, fridge, etc.). Headed out a little before 7, and caught a bus to the station. Got into Rome around 1 and dropped my stuff at the hostel, wandered around for a bit and then met up with Joe (and 2 friends), Katie and Francesca (with sister).
