Back to England

Was up nice and early, so basically passed time in the hostel until I got kicked out. Went to the hotel where you take a bus to Ciampino and wasted time there. Went to Ciampino airport and wasted more time, checked in and had to stand in lines hearing every flight getting cancelled because there was a hole in the runway. Was finally told that we were being moved to Fumicino airport, so we were loaded on buses and while waiting to leave heard a gun go off, and saw police running towards something that was smoking (but haven't heard any other details about it, so I guess I'll never know what was going on). Took the bus to Fumicino, where we checked our luggage again, and ran accross the very large airport to get to our gate, where we waited another hour or so. Finally got on the plane, when we were told that 5 people had checked their luggage, but were not on the plane, so they had to search for the luggage before we could leave. Ended up getting into East Midlands Airport about 2.5 hours late, but the flight was wonderfully smooth. Danny was there to pick me up, and we just headed straight to the house to crash.
