Totters

Moved out of the Anglesy (B&B) this morning and into Totter's (finally) before posting my cards and meeting up with Mr. Hughes and his wife. We went to Beaumaris to do the research, but did not find a direct link, only some siblings. Incidentally, to get there, we drove through the town on record with the longest name- 65 syllables: Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
which translates as: St. Mary's church by the white hazel pool, near the fierce whirlpool, with the church of Tysilio by the red Cave. and it was a publicity stunt to name it that! We stopped at Mr. Hugh's wife's neice's for tea. Then I got back, tried to take a boat tour of the Menai Straights, but they weren't running. I wandered for most of the afternoon (tried Bera Brith, the local fruit bread/cake, that is wonderfully delicious). Eventually went back to Totter's were I read , went out to dinner at Stones, then relaxed in the common room at the hostel for a while.
