I Survived!

Woke up this morning after about 12 solid hours of sleep (felt MUCH better). Lazed about until about 11:30, then ran some errands with Danny (groceries, etc.). Came back to the house and read a little (pamphlet on the Coal Worker's Strike 20 years ago, very interesting stuff- no sarcasm implied) then went over to Booba's for tea. She seems to have really mellowed, and seems very happy. I got to see her garden in fun bloom for the first time, and it is amazing! The plants are gorgeous and colorful, and she has fruit trees all over. Stopped by Reece and Jo's to take Josh for a walk (he's 20 months) and ended up taking him to the park for a swing. He's starting to actually interact with me (as opposed to the "scary stranger" looks I was getting yesterday). Met their neighbor, a cute little Italian woman, on the way out, so I got to brush up my Italian just a little. Then we headed off for dinner at a pizzeria that Danny and Maggie like, but it was closed, so we ended up getting food from a chippy nearby (fish and chip shop) and headed home to watch some history show on what the Romans gave the British. Now off to bed at a semi-reasonable hour, and hopefully I will be fully reset tomorrow.
