A slight obsession with politics runs in my family :) Mom woke me up on my 18th birthday to make me sign my voter registration card (I kid you not). I stayed up until 4 am eating leftover Halloween candy during the last Presidential elections. And this time I kept a running tally on the chalkboard in each of my classes as the states were declared.
I wish I were home for this. Not only for the joy of seeing everyone out voting and excited, but to have people around me who understand what is going on and appreciate the process. It was very weird having to explain why I was glued to my computer screen today.
