Musical Outings

Checking back in: both the burger and the curds at the Blue Moon were better. And as always, Magnus was delightful. Really am a huge fan of their chocolate martini (and the band (Clif Something Trio) was really fun as well.

Other than eating, it's been a fun week (or so): we did the first shoot for the pinup calendar on Sunday. It was a lot of fun, and I was really impressed with both Laura's photography and Nicole's hair and makeup. One more shoot to go. Saturday we went out to get final supplies, which was a trip. We ended up at Joann Fabrics to buy some lace and decided to make sundresses. So, Mebbie, Liz and I all got fun fabric and patterns and are in the process of making them (Liz's is done, Mebbie & mine are cut but still need to be sewn). Mine is a gorgeous chocolate brown with turqouise flowers outlined on it.

Other outing of note: Funky Monday at the King Club (Clyde Stubblefield and some great vocalists). Crapioke was advertised. I'm thinking that'll have to be the next karaoke outing. When I reported to the guy from General Beer that I finally made it to on of his bars, he noted that it's always for music. True. Any suggestions?
