Come on Stags!
Woke up nice and early to catch a ride into Nottingham with Danny and Mags (they were going to be mental support for a doctor's appt for Booba, but I doubt I would have been welcome doing that) and wandered around the Sherwood area for a while: went into all the little charity shops (Oxfam, etc) then walked my way to Booba's (I'm so glad she lives at the top of the biggest hill in town) and read on the steps until they showed up. Came back to the house and lazed around for a bit. We went to dinner at No. 4 around six and I had the smoked salmon starter with the wild mushroom ravioli entree. Very nice. We didn't have time for a pud, because Danny had borrowed someone's season tickets for Mansfield Soccer (the Stags). Unfortunately, the Stags lost, although it was kind of fun to watch the game here. We even got to go into the director's box during the half (nice warm coffee was much appreciated). Came home and packed almost everything, I'm off to London tomorrow (don't worry, it will be cabs instead of the tube) to stay the night at Lindsey's and then fly back to the Twin Cities. God this summer has gone fast!
