Yesterday was job search day: woke up, went for a jog/walk on Lakeshore, made some bread and then headed down to State St to try to find a job. Applied at one place, then walked into Tellus Mater (a kitcheny, home stuff store) and found out that I fit the hours they needed (kind of, but close enough). So basically, I found a job the first day I went looking. Met up with kelly at her place (which is sooo cute, and HUGE) and both John and Jacq stopped by. Eventually Kelly and I migrated to my place, had Jamba and hung out.
Today was my first day at Tellus Mater, which was a lot of fun: the people seem like they'll be really nice to work with, there was alot of running up and down stairs to restock from the basement, and I got about 20 more hours to work in the next two weeks or so. Relaxed and did laundry, ironing and cleaning for most of the afternoon, then went over to Kelly's around 8 and hung out there until I had to catch the bus to JTs around 9. The bus driver was nice enough to tell me where to get off and everything, so I got there easily enough. Had a really good time, although I felt really rusty (was really embarassed about that while dancing with Trevor, but then again, was still very happy that he asked me). It was weird, there were a ton of people I had never seen before (very cool). Got a ride home from Sarah, and stretched alot before bed (my muscles were definately telling me that it had been a while since I danced.
