So, classes as normal (other than them going until 5). Felt a little strange, so I hung out and read a book Mike had lent me, then made myself a really good pasta sauce (onion, red and green bell pepper, zucchine, mushroom) on ricotta and spinach filled pasta (not tortellini or ravioli, more like little gathered purses, really cute) and did laundry. Julie and I went on a fruitless search for good jazz, as no one was playing the Giardina, and the Berkley High School Jazz Ensemble has nothing to do with the Berklee School of Music (and they sound it, they were depressingly bad). The redeeming feature of the night was the wonderful gelato (again provided by the place underneath the Rosetta hotel- cheapest and best, except that they don't make a minty flavour, which I miss) where I tried caffè, bacio (think nutella, but better- combination chocolate and hazelnut), and pistacchio (pronounced piss-tack-e-o). Wonderful. Julie and I figured out that we have each spent at least €30 so far on gelato, and it doesn't look to be stopping any time soon.
