London Dancing

Woke up and was ready to head out by about noon (Lindsey, I'd been ready for hours- can't seem to shake that early riser habit). We made plans to meet Cousin Anthony at the Tate Modern, but we had plenty of time, so we ended up stopping in Covent Gardens, which is this really neat market, that has lots of street performers (a woman was singing opera while we were there). Lindsey wanted to pick up some records (she DJs) so we went down to Oxford Circus, but it seemed like we would be late meeting Anthony, so we split up and I went to meet him at the Tate (which is amazing, the building itself is like an exhibit- it's an old power plant with amazing space). We meandered down the Thames to meet Lindsey by the London Eye (did not go on- amazingly touristy and found that it held no attraction- but it is HUGE) and went out to dinner at a cute little Italian place. When we got back to Lindsey's, it was time for a quick change and then off to Metropolis to go dancing! It was absolutely fabulous, and I highly recommend! However, I know that the vast majority of you couldn't care less about the type of flooring, so I won't subject you (but if you are interested, I would be glad to elaborate). Took a cab home, and just crashed- close to 5 hours of dancing will do that to you!
