That was Quite a Workout

Fridays are always the hardest day of the week to wake up on, but I did (yay me!) and went swimming, which felt really good, except I felt like I was really low in the water. Then, wrote an essay for ILS, printed off and delivered the app. to IAP, class, FREE SUSHI (I knew this day would eventually come!), more class (where in our elections, my group {Le Femmeniste} lost to another group {Gli Alcoholici} but beat out the only really political party {I Communisti}). Went round to the Mifflin St. Co-op, which as always was fun (why do I like grocery stores so much?), although lugging the groceries back was not. Relaxed all afternoon, surfing the web for more information on swing dancing in the UK, then lunch with Jacq at Frank's, watching a really bad reality show on WE (why do I always get sucked into the awful ones?), then DANCING! Jumptown was great, got to dance with a couple new leads, only problem is that they seem to like to play with me (do crazy stuff when they lead), and if they get me off balance with a new idea, I tend to lose frame, which they then comment on, etc. (aggrivating, but not too bad). Got a couple of complements; one guy said he liked my turns, one of the guys in my beginning class commented that I seemed really good and asked if it was really my first time taking the class, and Kelly mentioned that they only played with you if they think you are a good follow (for example, John had me do a triple turn, and he has told her that he doesn't attempt that if the follow isn't good). Worked on the routine with Matt and Jacq a little after the dance, and I think I am beginning to get it, although I am by no means good. Then Niles dragged us downstairs for some DDR, which is rediculously hard! I made a poor showing on my first game, but then a slightly better showing on my second. Got in about 2, which wasn't bad, all in all.
